Planning summer holidays for your child?
Fun, individual, unique, safe, inclusive – these are words describing our summer program for your child. Autism Connections and the University of New Brunswick are working together to provide your child with a fabulous summer camp experience. This is an opportunity to make memories, socialize with peers, and have fun! We have a whole week of exciting activities like: crafts, games, outings, and so much more!
About Camp
Autism Connections and the University of New Brunswick’s Skills Program are teaming up to present Camp Marvel. We are offering a unique camp for children on the autism spectrum with a one-to-one camper to counsellor ratio. Week-long half-day camps will be held between July 4th and August 18th. Camp Marvel is located at the centre at 1666 Lincoln Road, which offers a safe, inclusive, and fun space.
We will offer an engaging week full of activities, crafts, games, outings and more. We will provide opportunities to learn social skills and enrichment activities with the individual assistance needed to meet the unique needs of our campers. Our goal is to help our campers create the fabulous summer camp memories they deserve.
Schedule and Prices
Half-day camps - 8:30AM - 1:30PM
Week 1: July 1st - July 5th- Ages 5-8 (Camp runs 8:30-2:30) FULL
Week 2: July 8th - July 12th- Ages 5-8 FULL
Week 3: July 15th - July 19th- Ages 9-12 FULL
Week 4: July 22nd - 26th - Ages 9-12 FULL
Week 5: July 29th - August 2nd- Ages 12 and under FULL
Week 6: August 5th- August 9th- Toddlers (Camp runs 8:30-2:30)
Week 7: August 12th-August 16th- Teens
Cost for members: $225 per week
Cost for non-members: $300 per week
We require a $75 deposit at the time of registration in order to reserve a space for each week registered in. Cheques made payable to Autism Connections at 1666 Lincoln Road OR via e-transfer to Director@autismconnections.ca with Camp Marvel Deposit as the message. The full amount is due 7 days prior to your campers first day.
Aftercare Play Program
Afternoon childcare is available for children who require additional supervision from 1:30-4:30 PM.
This has a fee of $150 per week for members or $225 per week for non-members.
Families can apply for financial support for camp through the Department of Social Development or through Canadian Tire’s Jumpstart program. Contact us for more information
