The Skills Enrichment Program is offered in partnership with UNB’s Applied Behaviour Analysis(ABA) Certificate Program. The ABA Certificate students apply their knowledge working with clients under the direction of Dr. Michael Palmer (Board Certified Behaviour Analyst, BCBA-D) and a BCBA clinical supervisor. The teaching program/clinic allows students to provide low-cost skill-building services while simultaneously learning and practicing their clinical skills.
Practicum students do not:
Support clients with behaviours that pose a safety risk to the client themselves or to the Behaviour Technician.
Or clients that require more service hours than the student's weekly availability.
