Autism Safety Registry

What is the Vulnerable Person Registry?

The Vulnerable Person Registry is a fully voluntary registration system which allows citizens to record vital information pertaining to themselves, vulnerable family members, or other persons in their care. It can be found on the City of Fredericton's website. This information will be used to assist police and other emergency services personnel, in the event of an incident involving the registered person. Once the form is filled out, please mail or drop off the completed form to the Fredericton Police Department.

Autism Connections will no longer be accepting the Vulnerable Persons Registry forms, they must be submitted directly to the Fredericton Police

York Sunbury Ground Search & Rescue

The York Sunbury Ground Search & Rescue program is pleased to introduce Project Lifesaver. This new initiative allows caregivers of individuals with autism spectrum disorder or other diverse needs to monitor a person's location through the use of a wearable wristband in the event of an emergency. In the event that the wearer were to go missing, the search and rescue team would use the wristband to track the individual's location and facilitate the search process.

For more information, contact the York Sunbury Search & Rescue team for a free consultation.
