Art is a Spectrum Gallery

Dedicated To Cameron Thomas Haynes

Art is a Spectrum is dedicated to the memory of Cameron Thomas Haynes. Cameron attended Fredericton High School and was a proud member of the 242 Fredericton Army Cadet Corps. After graduation he worked at the Lunar Lounge where he soon became as much a family member as a valued employee. He later enrolled in an Information Technology course at Eastern College where he earned several certificates. Cameron loved all types of technology and in his spare time he put his skills to good use creating music that earned him more than a few fans. He also loved to go to movies and enjoyed gaming, particularly a friendly game of poker. Cameron was a very strong individual and when he discovered that he had an aggressive bone cancer he stayed positive and kept his mind on the future. Rather than feel sorry for himself, he kept thinking of others - as was his way. Brainstorming with his brother, Johnston, they came up with a plan to find ways to perform together (DJing/VJing/Multimedia) to try to raise spirits of others facing such scary prospects, or really anyone in need of cheering up. Cameron found relief in healing rythms, and knew it ought to be shared with those in need. It is because of his amazing strength of character, his love of movies, and his love of music that we have dedicated Art is a Spectrum to his memory.

Life Under the Sea

Description: "The painting depicts a scene of a little chaotic sea dudes. But that's OK because they're still fun to look at. And that's what the painting represents in my eyes. No matter how crazy or chaotic life gets, there's always room for fun.

When I painted it, I did not use a single paintbrush. The background was used with a hunting knife and I used paint markers to do this. I thought it would be cool to submit a painting where the artist didn't use paintbrushes."

The Artist: B. Markus: "I am autistic myself, and I was born and raised in New Brunswick. I've traveled around the east coast and I want to travel the rest of Canada. I'm a father of two awesome kids who also enjoy painting and artwork. Besides painting, I also enjoy tinkering and crafting trinkets and jewelries. I'd like to expand and maybe sell my trinkets at some point."

Size: 18 x 24 inches
